Credit Card & Personal Information:
When providing personal and credit card details on this site they are done so using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL is a security technology that is commonly used for encrypting communications between users and e-commerce websites. The SSL protocol encrypts data during the transaction process to prevent eavesdropping and tampering of data you send and receive. We do not sell, rent or provide your personal details to any other company or person and they are stores securely and safely.

How do I know when SSL is being used?
URLs often begin with “http://” e.g. http://www.solecentral.com.au
URLs can go into secure mode, changing to “https://” e.g. https://www.solecentral.com.au
Comparing the above URLs you will notice that an “s” has been added to second one. This means that the visitor is now in secure mode and has connected to the server using SSL - any information about to be typed or shared will be encrypted.
At the point where you have to provided your credit card or personal information on our site you will notice the URL uses the “https://” format, providing security and peace of mind.
Processing Credit Cards:
Sole Central uses a third party company called eWay (www.eway.com.au) to securely process online credit card transactions. eWay isAustralia 's leading third party payment gateway provider and is set up to work in conjunction with a number of Australia 's leading banks.
All credit card details are processed in real time using a 1024 bit bank encryption, ensuring your credit card information is kept as safe as possible.
We request you provide your Card Verification Number (CVN) number, which is the last three digits of a number found on the back of your credit card. This helps eWay and the bank determine the authenticity of the transaction. Although your credit card number maybe stored by eWay for a short period of time the CVN is never kept.
